We often take for granted a lot of the simple pleasures that life has to offer. We don't realize how much of an effect these little things can have on us, because we're always so busy focusing on the negative things in life. We need to slow down sometimes and think of all of these types of things. Things such as a person letting you ahead in line, getting an extra fry in your McDonald's bag you didn't pay for, a cute good morning text, a coworker bringing you coffee in the morning, your mom cleaning your room, finding money in an old jacket, the list of these things goes on and on. The two simple pleasures i think are truly "Awesome" would have to be getting an amazing sleep, and when your parent cleans your room for you.
I think alot of people take sleeping for granted. They just see it as a part of our daily/nightly routine. Not many people actually think about sleep and what it does for us. Have you ever went to bed, feeling so run down, stressed, and overwhelmed? I have, alot.. and i absolutely love the feeling when I wake up. After that amazing long, knocked-out-cold, kind of sleep, you feel so refreshed and happy. Also your bed seems like the most comfortable place in the world. Also, your day just becomes so much better after a good sleep. You're nicer to people, you feel energized, and you can get more accomplished. When you get a bad sleep, you feel like you did when you went to bed, run down and stressed. Too much stress is not good for the body emotionally and physically, and most of us the reason why we cannot shake that feeling is because lack of sleep. So the next time you get that amazing sleep, just lay there for a few minutes after waking up. Stay all tangled in the warm, fluffy blankets and appreciate the sleep you just had, and the day ahead of you.
Our parents do alot for us. They feed us, clothe us, have bathed us, and put a roof over our heads. They are also our support system, our friend, and also sometimes our piggy bank. When our moms ask us to clean our rooms or do the dishes, we often do it and groan because we hate chores. But think of it this way, out of the six billion chores that our parents do almost every day they are only asking us to do two or three simple ones just to help out. Have you ever come home from your friends house, and go upstairs to your room and its completely spotless, everything in its place, new clean sheets, and your bed all ready for you to crawl into. I'm sure this has happened to every kid at least once in their lives. We take this act of kindness from out parents for granted. They didn't HAVE to clean our rooms, that's our job. They just wanted to help or do this small thing for us because they're our parents and they love us and would love to have some sort of appreciation for it. So the next time your room is a pig sty when you leave it, and is as clean as a whistle when you come home, make sure to thank your parents and help them out a little bit too.

Creative Hour
I think my worst habit I have is biting my nails. Personally, I think its repulsive and leaves your nails looking horrible, but I can't help it, and cannot stop. I mostly bite my nails as a nervous habit, when I am worried about something or upset. I also do it because I am very fidgety and always have to be doing something with my hands because I cant sit still .I have tried many different ways to stop biting my nails. Dipping them in nail polish remover, taping them, dipping them in vinegar, everything! The only thing that has stopped me from biting my nails is when I have fake nails on. However that wont always work because they fall off sometimes or eventually you have to take them off. Usually when I take them off after a while my nails have grown, and I like the way they look a lot. Then one day I will start to stress or worry about something and there I go again, without even realizing it ! This is definitely my worst habit and one I am trying hard to break. Besides, I like longer nails. When I have short nails, they just look ugly ha ha.
